Database Time-Out

The database query time-out value allows you to specify how long a database SQL query should wait for completion, in seconds. If the specified number of seconds elapses without a response, the current database connection will fail, and BounceStudio Enterprise will close the database connection. The default time-out is 45 seconds. The maximum allowable time-out value is 300 seconds (5 minutes).

If your database is optimized appropriately, you should never have to change this value.

Http Time-Out

The http query time-out value allows you to specify how long an Http Push Web Url should wait for completion, in seconds. If the specified number of seconds elapses without a response, the current Http Push connection will fail, and BounceStudio Enterprise will close the Http Push connection. The default time-out is 15 seconds. The maximum allowable time-out value is 300 seconds (5 minutes).

BounceStudio Variables - Advanced

You can enable any of the advanced BounceStudio Variables that you may need. When enabled, BounceStudio Enterprise will parse each bounced message for the specific data, and assign the value to the appropriate BounceStudio variable. The BounceStudio variable can be used in the database SQL statement and/or Web Url of each BounceStudio Enterprise monitored item.

By default, BounceStudio Enterprise does not assign values to these BounceStudio variables, but you can configure BounceStudio Enterprise to assign them by selecting the appropriate check boxes on the Global Settings - General Settings TreeView item window. To ensure optimum performance, only enable the BounceStudio variables that you'll be using.

Archiving Options

By default, BounceStudio Enterprise logs all bounced email addresses, bounced messages, and non-bounced messages to their respective log files. You can disable this functionality by selecting the appropriate archive options on this screen.
